Being a 90’s baby, there are things I remembered that i both loved and hated from that time. Things that we definitely take for granted now. For example, the ease of access to media and the internet. Also, the fact that almost everyone has a cell phone of some kind; smart or dumb. This is just a list of things I loved and hated about that time. Some of these things were around before the 90’s obviously but we inherited and made them our own. This is the best and worst things about the 90's.

Best: Cassette mix-tapes. Whoever gave you a cassette mix-tape was the best. They put a lot of effort into making that thing, especially if they recorded it from the radio. There were hours spent waiting for the right song to be played.

Worst: Rewinding cassettes. Nothing more needs to be said on this topic. This was a pain in the ass. Usually my cassettes were unwound and I needed to do the pencil thing to get them back together. I’d be lucky if the ever played right again.

Best: Instant Polaroid pictures. These were pretty satisfying. They’ve made a comeback, so that should tell you something.

Worst: Exposing your film and losing all of your pictures. I know I was a curious Cathy when I was younger. So I would pry open the film canister to look at the film. Sadly, I didn’t realize I was exposing the images and they’d be lost…
