Call me biased, but Zoro is literally my favorite character in One Piece. He’s Luffy’s super sexy, right-hand swordsman who lacks a sense of direction, but never fails in the clutch. So many times we see Zoro come through and straight up show out on the ops.

Let’s get a little background. Zoro shows up in the second episode, where he is in custody by the Navy. At this time, he’s known as Zoro the Pirate Hunter, a bounty killer. He’s bound to a post, being starved out and awaiting execution. Then, Monkey D. shows up, Zoro gets free and boom, we have the first official crewmember of the Strawhats.

If you’ve watched the full anime series, or read the manga, you know how loyal Zoro is. He’s older than Luffy and shows up as another older brother figure. It’s super kawaii how protective he is over Luffy. And it shows why Luffy has so much confidence in him. His intuition is top-notch, especially after he honed his Haki, he’s fearless, and willing to risk it all just so Luffy can become the King of the Pirates.

Every time I see Zoro, you can say I definitely become a complete fangirl, think Bartolomeo and Luffy-type stuff. But there are a few times when Zoro showed up and showed out.
